converter XLR plug

In situations when I have to connect 'wrong' type of XLR plugs/sockets I use a cable with these plugs. Brilliant. Very useful for last minute, unexpected challenges.
My second cable with this plug is XLR-1/4" socket, if the problem involves 1/4" connection.
Plug is quite big so not the best for regular connections, where standard xlr's are best, but as problem solver, perfect.

I was looking for a special multicore cable with 8 ins, 2 outs and 2 ins or outs as it is needed...so I used this type of neutrik plug for the 2 ins or outs...it is a bit tricky to assembly, but over all it is a great product.

Tolle Idee- Umsetzung könnte aber besser sein

Habe die Dinger nun schon ne ganze Weile im Einsatz und bin recht zufreiden.

Doch die ersten Probleme treten schon beim Zusammenbau auf. Einmal ausversehen auseinadner gebaut (komplett) und dann 5min Spaß gehabt die Teile wieder zusammen zu bekommen. Lassen sich daher nur mit Mühe Löten und gleich wieder zusammenbauen- Übung ist also erforderlich->dann klappts auch. :-D
Leider schlecht zu sehen ist die Unterseite auf den Abbildungen, denn da klafft ein großes Loch für die Mechanik(als Male Stecker). Stört aber an sich nciht weiter, sticht aber einem als aller erstes ins Auge.
Die Verarbeitung der Schiebevorrichtung wirkt solide, lässt sich aber teils zusammendrücken und lässt eine kürzere Lebensdauer gegenüber einem normalen Stecker erwarten.
Der ganze Schiebemechanismus funktionert gut, ist aber teils schwergängig.

Denke dies sind aber kleine Mängel, die trotzdem nicht von Kauf abhalten sollten. Bin sonst super zufrieden und wünsche mir das Ding nur noch als 5pol. Version....

Ein Manko hat der Stecker dann doch. Verbaut man mehrer dieser Adapter bzw. will zwei von der Sorte zusammen stecken, dann lassen sich beide in 2 Positionen ineinander stecken. D.h. die eine Position ist richtig, doch in der anderen besteht kein Kontakt der Pins! Könnte also schnell mal im Chaos auf der Bühne passieren und peinlich enden... Das Problem tritt aber wie gesagt nur auf, wenn Ihr beide Adapter zusammen steckt. Bei normalem Stecker+nc3fm-c ist dies nicht möglich.
