Professional-quality power conditioner
The Black Lion Audio PG-2 Type F is a power conditioner for professional-level applications and features 14 filtered outlets with surge protection - 12 switchable outlets on the rear side and a further two unswitched outlets on the front to provide a practical connection for hardware. To cover the broadest possible range of uses, the rear-side outlets are arranged in groups of four that are optimised to suit digital, analogue, and high-current devices, respectively. The front panel in turn features a display and a bank of five LEDs to provide a reliable overview of the unit's operating state. The Black Lion Audio PG-2 Type F is additionally equipped with a USB charging port, and the whole range of features ensures a flexible and customisable power supply as well as a clear overview, allowing high-quality production results in the studio.

Reliable monitoring
At the centre of the Black Lion Audio PG-2 Type F's front panel is a numerical display that reliably indicates what voltage is present at the source, and its brightness can be adjusted using the "Dimmer" knob on the left-hand side. The front panel also features five LED indicators located beneath the display that warn the user of any operational problems. The first LED ("Ground OK") indicates whether the unit has been connected to a properly grounded power supply, while the second ("Wiring Fault") indicates whether any line or neutral connections are wired incorrectly. The third LED ("Clean Power On") indicates that all connected devices are being supplied with clean AC power, and the fourth ("Abnormal Voltage") indicates the presence of under/over-voltage. Finally, the "Protection On" LED indicates that the surge protection circuits are working properly. The user can additionally connect a 12V lamp to the front or rear panel of the PG-2 Type F to improve legibility.

Optimum noise reduction
As mentioned above, the outlets on the rear panel of the Black Lion Audio PG-2 Type F are grouped to best suit the connected equipment types, allowing analogue synthesizers and digital effects to be operated with optimised power connections, and each group of outlets features a special filter circuit. In the case of the four digital outlets, this reduces AC malfunctions as well as isolating problems caused by digital hardware. The filter circuit for the analogue outlets in turn reduces the audible noise generated by analogue components, and the high-current outlets - which turn on after six seconds so that the startup sequence is complete before any high-current devices are activated, thus eliminating any harmful pop noises - are ideal for connecting loudspeakers. Thanks to this extensive connectivity, the Black Lion Audio PG-2 Type F allows the user to get the best performance out of all of their gear.
