Great strings for Str-Style guitar

Used on 25.5" scale, in standard tuning.

Really great tone, lots of top & mid spank. Bottom strings ring out nicely.

Intonation is extra solid with these, very stable even with tremolo use.

Might not last as long as coated brand, but personally think these feel better.

Ich war schon immer ein Fan von Ernie Ball Strings. Da ich aber relativ feuchte Hände habe, musste ich bald von den Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky auf umsponnene Saiten wechseln. Von Ernie Ball gab es damals keine solche Alternative, weshalb ich zu anderen Marken greifen musste.
Dann kamen die Coated Strings von Ernie Ball raus. Ich habe mir direkt 2 Sätze bestellt und musste leider feststellen, dass nach jeweils 1,5 - 2 Wochen Nutzung eine Saite riss. Das konnte ich bei anderen Ernie Ball Saiten vorher nie feststellen. Ich habe den Coated Strings noch eine Chance gegeben und nutze sie jetzt seit einer Weile absolut problemlos. Ich hatte wohl mit meinen ersten beiden einfach nur Pech. In Sachen Sound sollten die Saiten jedem gefallen, der auch auf den Sound der "normalen" Ernie Balls steht. Deswegen für den Sound 5 Punkte. Für mich gibt's nichts besseres. Für die Verarbeitung gebe ich "nur" 4 Punkte, wegen der schlechten Erfahrungen mit den ersten 2 Sätzen, die aber wohl Einzelfälle zu seien scheinen.
