You get what you pay for
We bought this as a backup bad-weather violin. Have to say that for the price, getting a violin, bow and hard case is pretty impressive all by itself... but you do get what you pay for.
Sound is thin and tinny out of the box. We'll see how well it ages. The outer surface is covered in what feels like vinyl (whatever that substance is, the name of it is not "wood"). The bow is, as you'd expect, cheap. The case is sturdy and functional (and much appreciated).
As an occasional backup for rainy and/or hot weather, it should suffice, but nobody should think they're getting a top-quality instrument here. Even Thomann can't pull off a concert violin for EU 89.

its ok
The instrument is fine but the rosin and bow are pretty bad.
The bow seems to be made of plastic. It doesn't have the strength to hold the right tension.
The rosin is shit. have never got it to work.
If you are going to buy this, i suggest getting a different bow and rosin. I also suggest changing the strings too

As expected
Basic violin that I got to keep in a family home and practice with my kids. It' s great for that. It is quite basic but comes as a set, strings, rosin, bow case shoulder rest. and for the price and the function I need is great! The sound is a bit thinny.

Chinese violin sounds violin
After 47 year's break in playing violin, I started again. This full violin looks and sounds ok. Thou the case contained wooden dust, and there was sticky stuff under the neck (glue?), this instrument is genuine. It is almost ready for playing.
I wonder how they make this quality with this price. This kind of Chinese
violin costs here in Finland 2-3 times more.
If this is gonna be your first violin, be sure to get some lessons, and ask advice about tuning, playing and taking care of this instrument. Use a lot of rosin to the bow. Never touch the hair. Be careful while polishing with Bellacura.

Budget violin
This violin set is great for beginners. I bought it because I had an interest in learning the instrument but wasn't sure if I would stick with it. Comes with everything you need to get going.
