Deep enough for large amps
This was the only portable rack case I could find which was deep enough to house my Ashdown ABM600 Bass Power Amplifier. All others were just too short. The zipped mesh in the lid is very useful for storing power/speaker cables, though it would have been nice to see this on both lids. One other small complaint is that the inner plastic has no mounting points, nor do the racks have inner rails for affixing the rear of an amplifier (such as mine, or the Ampeg SVT-4-Pro. Without these, the amplifier is only supported by it's own ears; which of course is fine if the ears are steel. Not so much if they are thin aluminium.
Other than that, the handles are sturdy, the plastic is tough and it takes a lot of abuse. Overall, very good.

Excellent value
Very good case and a bargain at this price range.
The plastic material is solid enough for good protection, it would take a substantial impact to crack/break it. you could easily stack other gear on top of this case without the worry of weight cracking in (no 18" bass bins now, but other cases, even monitors, etc is fine).
The material also makes the case quite lightweight which makes it ideal for pulling in/out of vans or location work.
The latches are good quality and lock well, no complaints.
It has held up well for me, as long as you are carefully and easy opening and closing the latches this case will last you a long time.

You won't find cheaper for the same quality
Just a great thing for that price. Using it both indoors and outdoors, helps a lot when carrying the rather big amount of gear. It's a bit of a backbone killer as with all what's inside it weights approx. 15 kilo. Though the case itself barely gives a quarter of that weight.
And just a couple of smallish issues, the handle could have been made a bit wider than it is. The current one makes my palm hurt after 5-10 minutes. And the other one - the rack rails they have a couple of backslashes. Though it's not crucial at all, all the gear perfectly fits in.
And I've almost forgotten. If you want to put lots of stickers on it's surface - you'd better chose another unit. It doesn't let anything to stick on!

Nice price
As you often "get what you pay for" this case is perfect for its purpose.
I wish it had a "more standard" fit on top of an amp. Then it would have been more stable but it works.
I recommend this product.

Decent gear
Nearly as good as a gator case, but cheaper! The only downside is that the handles are a little bit stretchy, rather than the nice metal bars that you get on a gator case. But it is sturdy and offers all the protection you need. Over 100 gigs so far, and it hasn't broken!

Good protection, reasonable proice
I purchased this to provide moderate protection for a Line 6 HD400 amplifier while in pub use. For me, this is to allow my guitarist to plonk him Marshall combo on top of my bass stack to minimise floor space.
the Line 6 is quite shallow from to back and sitting inside this rack allows plenty of room for stuff to be stacked on top. In addition, I'm reasonably safe from spilled beer and knocks and bumps.
At this price point, we aren't really in true flight case territory but that isn't a criticism as it's a great case to provide protection with a sensible limit on your expectations.
Catches and front / rear covers all fit reasonably well and there is a little envelope of spare bolts and washers included too.

Cheap and cheerful
these cases are good for the price and are ideal for fx units and lightweight kit, I think for heavier gear like amplifiers that the handle will be the first thing to give you trouble, it seems a bit flimsy,I might drill it out and screw the handle in to a bit of scrap plywood inside the case to make it feel a bit more solid, its a good case for the money and i have a quite a few of these now and have had no problems with them, i like the mesh liner inside the lid where you can store bits and pieces without them falling inside the case and getting lost.
if you are careful when loading your van these should last a long time.
cheers

Perfect rack for your equipment
Rack case 3U is a good enclosure for you equipment. Made in hardness material and finished in extruded aluminium it look very professional and useful rack. Next time I am going to start my tour and I will check this rack out but, simply the look seems that it will be a great case for mounting all my equipment.

Good quality at a low price
This case is well made and rugged enough for gigging. One slight niggle is the handles don't feel like they are going to last long. But they are still going strong up to now (nearly 12 months later).
Great purchase.
Great purchase.
