not too expensive and great

we all have the same problems, after same years the snare strainers aren´t usable anymore because the wires are broken or hey aren´t on the right place, and a new stainer is expensive: 30 £ is normal.
But with the Tama Starclassics you could solve the problem to pay too much every time you buy a strainer 10 £ is really OK and the sound is probably as good as he is with the more expensive strainers.
The sound is powerful and crisp.
The pitch tends more in the direction to be high.
With the right Right Reso Head and the right Tune also the sensitivity is pretty high.
Not the highest possible but pretty high.

Oh I forgot, it´s just for 13? snares but i think that´s logical

Wenn nicht alle Wires die gleiche Spannung haben dann klingt Teppich zu lang und man tauscht ihn aus. Bei diesem Teppich war es im Neuzustand schon der Fall.
Also doch mehr Geld ausgeben.

Guter Snareteppich für den Preis

Für 13,- ein sehr guter Snareteppich. Habe den Teppich jetzt bereits an 2 Snares (1x 12", 1x 13" Variante) und bin mit Ansprechverhalten und Sound sehr zufrieden.

Bei der 13" Snare hatte ich mit einem teureren Brass Teppich eines anderen namhaften Herstellers zunächst Probleme, lästiges Nachschnarren des Teppichs und abgewürgter Klang. Seit ich den Tama Teppich aufgezogen habe klingt die Snare offener und schön `crisp`, eben typisch für Stahlseiten.
Auch die Verarbeitung ist m.E. sehr gut. Es gibt zwar auch noch günstigere Stahlteppiche, jedoch habe ich mit diesem hier immer relativ schnell gute und stabile Klangergebnisse erzielt. Handhabung war immer sehr einfach, man muss nicht stundenlang rumtüfteln bis man die einzig funktionierende Einstellung gefunden hat.
