The BEST cleaner for any trombone slide!

I am very happy with this cleaning sheath.

I have the rod that the sheath goes over, and it cleans your slide really, really well. Being a professional trombonist, I clean my slide regularly and this does the job exceptionally well. The sheath is washable too and after using this cleaning rod and sheath, the slide is so clean that the overall performance of the slide improves.

Highly recommended.

Machine washable

After years of using the red one, I realised you can put it in a washing machine and it comes out brand new. The blue one is a little big for a large bore (.547 bore) horn, though it is perfect for a bass trombone.

Wischer blau

Der blaue Wischer ist für große Bohrungen 13,9 mm gedacht. Beim ersten Versuch hatte ich zunächst das Gefühl, daß der Wischer zu dick und zu steif ist und er durch die Naht nicht in die Zugrohre passt. Dann habe ich ihn in der Waschmaschine mit waschen lassen und weiche ihn vor der Reinigung in warmen Wasser ein. Dadurch wird er weich und geschmeidig und lässt sich dann mit dem Reinigungsstab (Yamaha) in die Rohre einführen. Es ist etwas Vorsicht geboten, da alles satt past. Ich ziehe den Wischer erst stramm am Stab nach oben und kann dann die Rohre prima reinigen. Allerdings gingen meine Stoffstreifen vorher genau so gut.
