It's good enough to start out. I've busked and gave some concerts using this mic and it's good for the job but if you're looking for something with more quality I would suggest something a bit better.

The classic rock mic was not for me.
This was not my mic.
The sound is in my opinnion "muddy" compared to many others.
I dont want to advertice the mic that I use now but anyway that cuts more clearly trough
the mix than this SM58.
You can see this even from the frequenzy responce of this mic.
The SM58 cuts some frequenzy making it in some way more "muddy".
This is the reason I think this mic is many times mentioned
as "forgiving" mic.
as it does not so clearly show all your voice tones.
About the quality. I Managed to break the on/off switch after 2 years.
Now it rattles and makes noise.
I would recommend to buy the version without the switch if you really dont need it.
