stylish elegant ligature

I wont blabber about its influence on the timbre of the instrument which i find quite irrelevant by the way . It is sturdy , very easy to center the reed and firmly holds the reed in place . You can use this ligature in your clarinet mouth pieces as well . It fits perfectly . I use this ligature with jody jazz Hr series , both clarinet and alto sax.

A matter of personal preference
Anthony8207 08.08.2015
I have a Yanagisawa AWO-2 with the Yanangisawa mouthpiece which sounds great but a little bright. I have tried a Rovner Dark, which made a huge difference to the sound, giving a very rich and solid sounding lower register and a fuller tone to the higher notes. It did, however, lose some of the resonance, especially at the higher end. The Rovner Mark III, claims to address that problem and so it does, but it doesn't give quite the same solid low end as the Dark. They both sound good, it just depends which you prefer. I might buy one of each.

Superb ligature

I actually bought this ligature for my clarinet as thought it would fit. It does, and I am very happy with the response from it when I play. It has a nice snug fit to the mouthpiece, and the material used seems to sit well when I place the reed in it.
Highly recommended.

Bonne ligature
Axosax 03.09.2019
