I play mainly metal, so a coated snare head just results in my cymbals being covered in the worn-off coating after minimal playing but the colortone P77 alleviates this issue!

The tonal character that it gives my Yamaha Recording Custom Brass snare when I crank it up is unmistakeable, I will definitely stick with these for the future!

10/10 for Rock, Metal or any other genre that you need your snare to cut through.

(Plus they look so cool!)

Nutze das Remo 14 Power. 77 Colortone (Smoke) zusammen mit einem Remo Ring Control (Muffl) auf meiner Ludwig Vector Parade Snare (14x12"). Durch die 7mil Stärke ist das Fell enorm stabil und mit dem o.a. Ring Control klingt die Snare schön dumpf und fett. Man muss jedoch schon Kraft aufwenden, um es zu bespielen. Für Marching -wofür ich es benutze- TOP. Für filigrane Musik nicht geeignet.

DIk vind dit een van de beste snarevellen die er zijn. Ten eerste vind ik het uiterlijk heel mooi. Op de foto ziet het minder donker uit dan dat het is. Daarnaast speelt het vel lekker, en klinkt fantastisch. Als je hem goed stemt heeft hij bijna geen sustain, en een heerlijke scherpe sound die overal doorheen komt.
