6. Standard Case Features

Whereas the explanations up to now have been quite general, I would on this page like to concentrate exclusively on the THON cases produced in the Franconian village of Erbshausen by LT-Cases. LT-Cases not only produces in Germany, they also source almost all of their fittings and metal strips which are used in the production of their racks and cases from Germany or from Europe. This may seem a waste of money ro some, but there's a reason why German engineering products have an excellent reputation worldwide. In any case, all materials have been selected with the durability of the final case or rack in extreme conditions in mind.

Basically, you have to distinguish between custom cases individually produced to your specifications and ready-made standard cases.

Standard cases

You should first browse the Thomann web store to check if a standard case has already been included on the item page of your instrument or device. Then, you have to decide which type of case you want to go for. The following configurations are on offer from Thomann and LT-Cases:
