Saved my guitar
David8581 11.10.2019
At first I wasn't sure about this case, as it was pretty expensive. That changed one night after a gig where I was having a drink while the guitar was in the corner of the smoking area behind me. Well, there were two guys to the side of me misbehaving. They started grappling, and one of them playfully pushed the other, who decided to purposefully pratfall on top of my guitar.

I saw it happen but couldn't prevent it, and it honestly looked like the guitar (a 335 style) was gone. The neck had to have broken, or a hole punched in the top - something of that sort. I opened the case to survey the damage expecting at least an expensive trip to the luthier, if not a complete write-off of a 2k guitar.

I was really surprised when there was absolutely no damage. The Mono case saved the guitar, it was even still in tune! This is why I can't give this any less than 5 stars. And I no longer leave my guitar anywhere near drunken morons!

Best of the best

This is my second Mono Case.

I travel a lot. Working offshore requires numerous flights and travels using boats, cars, trains and helicopters. At my personal time I keep travelling :) Mountains and urban escapes. Mono cases stand such a lifestyle with honor!

I use this particular case for an archtop jazz guitar or thinline classical guitar, which fits it perfectly.

I have Mono Guitar Tick for pedals, clothing, or, basically, anything else. It attaches to the case and compliments it nicely.

Prior to buying it I had a chat with Mono staff regarding dimensions. They were really helpful and nice. Thomann service and delivery was brilliant as well.

Pros:
Literally indestructible. Handles all the road abuse
Pockets. Work just perfect. Small key carabiner, pen holders, cable tie... Everything works for me
Protective shoe. Nice feature - dropped guitar just jumps up :)
Straps. Comfortable, can be tucked away

Cons: Strap keep unchaining while twisting. Not really often, but it happens time to time.

Also worth mentioning that the case is quite bulky. However I doubt you can find anything slimmer of the same level of comfort and protection

k
best gigbag I have ever owned
konbour 29.11.2020
I have never invested a lot in gigbags but since I am travelling now a lot with airplanes, I had to get a proper one. Without Really much to say, this gigbag does everything it promises! The money is so well spent, I have no complain whatsoever. Note that my guitar also survived when I failed to load it in the airplane cabinet, and had to go to luggage compartment (I highly discourage you to do so).
It is the kind of bag that even when I load it in a stuffed car for a gig, I would not be worried if it gets damaged. For me, it relieved a lot of my pressure when I had to take my guitar out of home for rehearsals, gigs, travel, etc.
Built to last, sturdy, but easy to carry, well done!
I would buy it again for sure.

I got this case for a 335 style guitar for a couple of reasons : hard cases create marks on car interiors and they don't have straps so you can carry the guitar on your back while leaving your hands free to carry a combo amp and accessories case.
The mono is comfortable with good zips and great materials. There are two main selling points - the "sneaker sole" base to absorb shock when you put the case down base first
...and the unique way to put the guitar in -by sliding it into the case in a vertical way from the top -handy on a tight stage. - highly recommended.
