Comfortable strap with hipster looks
boch 04.06.2017
I own two of those cool looking guitar straps, mostly attracted by the worn looks. I wasn't familiar with the brand, but the strap turned out to be extremely comfortable with the soft padding. The cushion adheres to the clothes nicely and gives an impression of you and your gear being one thing. The strap doesn't produce any slippage nor movement even while playing dynamically, whether we wear t-shirt or jacket.

The only complaint is that the strap itself is quite stiff and doesn't fold as nicely as straps made from other materials. However, most of the time I managed to put it into the gig-bags or hard shells on top of the guitars without much problems.

The length adjustment should be enough for guitar players. 150 centimeters is the limit. However some bass players may look into dedicated bass strap from the same vendor due to the increased width of the strap by 3 centimeters. There are only 3 holes in the strap, separated by a considerable distance, so without a proper adjustment one may end up with the rest of the strap hanging annoyingly.

I played with the strap with and without strap-locking systems and I didn't have any issues with the strap unlocking. This may be due to the fact that the straps are relatively new, some other reviews may have impressions after years of usage when the strap attachments are considerably more worn.

The price makes this strap a clear winner, for this comfort level and cool looks it's not easy to find a viable alternative. Color spectrum may be limited, but the worn styling may be appealing for vintage guitar players. The fact that the strap doesn't just hung on you, but rather hugs you gives a slightly more immersive playing experience. However, guitar spins might be difficult with this strap if you are into those tricks.

Misleading and disappointing
Haik5 27.12.2021
Misleading description - Soft leather- this thing is everything but soft. Its hard, stiff, not pliable and when you try to plie it - it will definitely start showing cracks. the leather doesn't feel natural at all- it feels like synthetic leather . I already had purchased one Minotaur strap last year and will throw it away now cause it's cracking all over the leather ...bad quality...

"used look" is a bit of a reach, but overall happy with it
Arno van Remoortel 18.01.2023
I'm quite happy with the strap itself. It feels sturdy, is thick, and seems to be of good quality. Only thing that I'm not that happy with is the "used look"

Doesn't really matter much to me, however, I'm happy with it.

My trusty guitar strap
visters 20.12.2020
This strap has been for some years now on my Fender Telecaster. I have played approx. 100 concerts with it, many more rehearsals and I am super happy about it. It is very comfortable on the shoulder, it still looks like new to me and goes very well with the sunburst color of my guitar. I am using it in combination with black strap locks of Schaller.
