Product quality could be improved
Shabada 07.08.2023
The product has good features :
- The volume is enough to include all hardware of a small drum set ; High-Hat stand, Snare Stand, 2 cymbal stands, a tom holder, 3 low tom feets, a cow bell and a bass drum pedal,
-The size is still compact enough to be handle and stored,
- it has some straps to avoid the hardware movements inside,
But it has some flaws :
- The total weight of the hardware described above (about 25kg) is too high for the product quality : One strap broke, the two external corners on the same edge as the wheels are damaged because of frictions, the rigidity of the loaded case is weak.
Conclusion : the product needs improvements : better straps, wheels with increased diameter, external corner protection with at least plastic corners, improved rigidity. The recommended maximal weight should be available.

Well, for its value it is hard to expect to receive something very very good quality. But you will not expect to observe cracks and tears on the sewing parts so quickly. It does the job, perfectly accomodates the pices of hardware and helps with transport. Would have to consider replacement in the nearest future, trolley being in use for 4 years.

Paying cheap isn't always a best buy
The Berck 15.04.2024
I bought this as a replacement for my Pearl hardware trolley. In a way it's better as it has pre formed edges but it can't take the load. It might be I carry to many hardware but the zipper was acting up quit quickly, also the handles started to move. Wheels are good! It wasn't the right choice for me. Bought myself a hardcase and I use this now to store microphone- and speaker stands.

Hi I originally bough the gator caddy case and found that I unfortunately still require an extra piece of hardware (5 piece kit with three/four cymbals)! Zips handles wheels all good (size an issue).

Cons

Wheels could be bigger as a few times it nearly fell over

Compartment at least down the middle would help for faster loading as straps are not always the quickest way to get out of a small venue asap

I would like somewhere to protect more delicate hardware seperately like bass drum pedals.

It does lean when loaded but doesnt fall so a coule of support legs would provide reassurance without much additional manufacturing cost as drummers like to be able to load it standing up rather than horizontally in tight spaces.

All things considered at this price it is very good value for money for those short of cash who cant afford a hardcase!

A reasonable case.. not amazing
Anonymous 31.03.2016
Overall this case is distinctly average. The case is fairly cheaply made- the strap handles rip and the metal handle bends, and the zips have broken on it.

The biggest problem with this case is that the size deceives you. It is a big case! which I wanted, but if you put a lot of hardware in a nice big case you expect it to be capable of handling the weight.
This case would have lasted longer if I had only half-filled it.

This Touring Trolley looks ok and firm and it's ok whe you use this steel side handle with wheels on the other side, but one thing bothers me
you put all drumm hardver in, then you close on top
but this other handles strap are on the side, so when you grab handles, ll
hardver thumb over inside... the bootom become side
i hope i manage to explain on my bad english

So far so good, but...
Anonymous 27.04.2015
It is certainly convenient for transporting drum hardware, but be careful how much you put in there - I think too much weight is really going to easily break it. One thing that I don't feel too confident about is the zipper. it just feels like it's going to strip. So I just make sure that I am careful with it overall.

Too cumbersome
elnegros 28.02.2016
I was a bit disappointed when i examine the interior of this Trolley, made of cheap material, it is big and cumbersome. I could not imagine it would be that huge. The reviews that i looked on the site induced me in an error calculating.

For me,if the trolley was a bit smaller in height it would be perfect. Still it looks very fragile, and I wonder if it will last long. i have chosen this as my gear are too heavy I cannot lift them anymore. I was hesitating between a Gewa bag,but there is not one which have wheels.

The price we paid for does not reflect the quality I expect it to be.

shame.
looking forward for a Gewa.

Great for the price, but not for heavy handling.
Anonymous 14.05.2013
I used this for mic stands. It's now unfortunately destroyed and in bits from a year of use! The thin plywood internal structure gave in around the wheels and the bottom, making this very difficult to move around. Definitely not for any extensive weight, so only lightweight drum hardware and stands could be used for this.
But for light use and lightweight contents, this would be ideal!
