Simple but effective for the price

Compared to the other (iRig etc) options, this is massively cheaper.

It doesn't quite accommodate my (slimline) case, but that's fair enough as my iPhone 5 fits snugly without the case. However, often the screw on the back falls off when I unscrew it to mount/unmount the phone. But once in it's secure.

The clamp connector fits the diameter of a standard mic stand but goes no wider, so will only allow you to fit to the thinnest part of a standard mic stand - It would be nice if it could go a little wider.

All in all good value for money, but perhaps the more expensive products are a little better. However, I bought two of these and am more than happy with them.

For an Iphone of that generation it is perfect. To use it with my
Ipod touch, I adapt something, to grow bigger, then it works. Then a home video clip making is possible, in parallel with another gadget with camera.

Works okay, could be better

Works well for my iPhone 5, but its on the limit of its range. The thumbscrew that holds the movable part of the clamp is a bit cheap and has fallen out on occasion, dropping my phone. Once its clamped up though, nice and solid on the stand!

Not for iPhone 5 in a case

Hi guys

These units don't claim to hold a phone that's in a protective case, but mine is and the fit was just too tight for my iPhone 5 c.

It's a cracking bit of kit though for the price and grips a naked phone perfectly.

Well worth the money, well made.
