Great Cymbal while it lasted....

If you gig 4-5 nights a week and travel a lot then this might not last the test of time, but other than that I can't fault it.

Cette cymbale sonne à merveilles: un son sombre, sans trop de sustain.
Point négatif: étant un batteur assez expressif (mauvais batteur comme ils disent dans le métier), jouant du metal progressif (de surcroît), j'ai constaté que cette cymbale demande une certaine délicatesse dans le " touché " si on ne veut pas briser ses rêves, et la dite cymbale par la même occasion.
Malgré cela, je la recommande pour le jazz, le rock/metal prog et toutes autres musiques ésotériques.
Pour des sons plus "modernes", faites comme tout le monde, Zildjian c'est la porte d'à côté.

Hallo,

wie bereits in der Überschrift zu lesen ist, finde ich persönlich das Becken wirklich klasse.
Ich spiele schon länger Becken dieser Firma, bin allerdings trotzdem von diesem positiv erstaunt.
Klang: es spricht schnell an und klingt sauber. Das Crash kann sowohl leise als auch etwas lauter gespielt werden (leider kriegt man da nicht die Lautstärke raus, die man vielleicht gern hätte, ich denke aber für den Jazzer reicht es und für Rocker ist es ebenfalls machbar. Metaller sollten sich da etwas anderes suchen, dafür ist das Becken nicht gemacht).
Zudem klingt es recht weich und wie schon gesagt auch sauber.

Optik: meiner Meinung nach ist die Byzance Dark- Serie die schönste. Das Becken macht echt was her, gerade in Kombination mit beispielsweise den anderen Becken mit Vintage oder Taditional-Finish.
Auch klanglich passt es zu den anderen Becken, was natürlich auch sehr wichtig ist.

Preis: 319¤ sind nicht wenig, aber dafür bekommt man auch ein schönes Becken mit tollem Klang. Ich bereue es nicht ;)

Alles in allem ein klasse Becken! Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Changed my crashes to Meinl after much consideration and I can only say that I am overall satisfied. I love the vintage and dirty look on this cymbal and it's very mellow and dark in it's sound so not so loud and annoying when sitting behind the drums. Great sound
