Much more than I expected.

CarlosP.Pardo, 07.05.2018
I will be brief, but I will try to be as objective as possible.
For those who doubt if it is good ampli, yes, it is.
Pros:
It has a very classic sound, reminiscent of the marshall before, without saturation compression and with very clear crystals.
Simple, easy to equalize and very intuitive everything.
You get the ACDC sound easily
The power selector goes very well. In fact in my rehearsal with the band I have it in Low mode (more or less 1 watt)
There's more, but I do not want to roll up.
Cons:
When you put it in high treble mode (Tilt pot all to the right, to the top) the ampli saturates better, but it makes a lot of noise and hum. It is solved with a noise door.
The presence pot more of the same.
The boost boost mode makes the sound very messy, if you do rhythmics, but for solos it is not bad at all.
The effects loop is not the best, it helps to make the reverb and the delay sound better, but not very noticeably.
The aesthetic finishes, if it is true that (at least mine, I do not want to generalize) are improvable, I mean, that they do not have what perhaps a Marshall of 1600?
But hey, in my opinion it is the least. In addition they only appreciate if you put yourself right in front of you and look for the defects.

I think it's almost everything.

In summary. It's a Marshall, valve, for 639? !!!! What else do we want to ask for ?! It sounds very good, very classic, very vintage, rock N roll, you can not express it in any other way.
Health and rock N roll

... not from the "Mars-" and also no "hall"

musiman, 03.07.2018
... he does not need it either, because the Plexi was also without.
To be clear ahead, please do not be biased towards products from Vietnam, China or anywhere else. If something does not work, then the client (Marshall) has been sleeping, right?
Answer: yes, he has been sleeping! Anyone who knows what a tube looks like also knows that such a part is alive and wants to be caressed. That's why I can not understand why the on / off switch is not standby !! The switching of the 3 power levels may also be better behind. I could not see it yet because of the guarantee, but if even good capacitors are installed I assume that the solder joints are not splices. I hope the Elkos are properly sized and the transformers too.
Let's turn it on: I have set to 50 W and the volume control to zero - so it does not plop loud. Next to it is my old lead master who looks a bit jealous.
Quickly I found the same setting and immediately I like the tilt control and the insert. On the Marshallbox the amp looks a bit too narrow. The leather cover looks just like my old amp, which is great.
Since I was able to try the amp only in the basement with the Strat I must say a light Zerre has succeeded so far, but not more. Important is the tilt setting and the power setting. Since the part damn loud, I have to be careful half-volume. I like the slightly distorted sound, but the Brian Adams Crunch you probably only at higher volume. A Paula is certainly better off there.
Then turn off: - forgot to reduce the volume down and already there's a loud very ugly sound. The speakers have apparently survived it. The poor tubes, I thought immediately.
The band rehearsal is still pending. For the breaks is available as a standby only the tuner enabled. To get the power down you should rather take into account a Powersoak or the new Eminent speaker with the big controller on it.
As the part is, it is guaranteed too loud for the living room!
One should consider that the indication 50Watt is related to an extremely small total harmonic distortion (distortion) which one actually does not want. At least the sound is the same clean sound as my old Marshall.
By the way, the dimensions are the same as the boogie. The two amps I simply put on each other in the next sample. I hope that with the Paula I can get the Foreighner sound or Brian Adams.
Unfortunately, my assessment is somewhat subjective, because I have not yet finished the test.
