für Drummer, die auf der Suche nach einem weich klingenden, swingenden, nicht zu lauten Ride sind.
In meinem Fall nun als Hauptride, das sehr gut mit bereits vorhandenen Istanbul (Mehmet) Nostalgia 50's Ride und HiHat harmoniert, jedoch natürlich auch als 2. Ride neben 22'er einsetzbar.
Sound ist natürlich persönliche Geschmacksfrage, mein Exemplar - Ausstellungsstück vor Ort, was mir etwas Reinigungsarbeit bereitet hat - hab ich interessehalber mit auch weit teureren Premium-Rides anderer Hersteller verglichen, die mir dagegen recht hart und trocken vorkamen.
Wer also auf der Suche nach einem swingenden, nicht zu lauten Jazz-Ride ist und hierfür kein Vermögen ausgeben will, dem kann ich das Istanbul Agop Mel Lewis vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Au bout d'un an d'utilisation en Left Ride pour du Jazz quasiment qu'acoustique, voilà ce que je peux en dire.

* un son complexe et super riche, elle va sonner super brillante en apparence, mais il suffit de tendre l'oreille pour entendre toute la richesse de ses graves.

* une bonne définition du ping, mais attention à ne pas le noyer dans le sustain de celle-ci (voir point suivant)

* Un énorme sustain par contre du entre autres au rivet, il faut dompter l'animal si on veut pouvoir la jouer. Personnellement, j'ai opté pour une bande de scotch pour la mater légèrement, et depuis c'est nickel, le son est claire, mon jeu beaucoup plus compréhensible, sans altérer trop la nature de ce bel instrument.

CONCLUSION : A utiliser comme ride si vous savez manier correctement vos baguettes, elle peut néanmoins se révéler être un crash redoutable. Petit temps d'adaptation au début, mais vous ne serez pas déçu.
