B
Edited review as F harmonica has a fault
Bigblueuk 08.06.2021
Original review: Great build, sound and well packaged. I'm no expert with this instrument but I'm delighted

Edit: I am editing this review as after just a few uses of the harmonica, it feels like it has seized up at around 5 to 8. There is hardly a sound from it. I have other keys of the same harmonica (D and G) and they are fine, just the F is problematic. I have seen another similar review regarding the F.

When it was working it sounded lovely and the D and G versions do still.

R
The best budget harp.
Robert501 03.12.2014
I play a lot of sessions, & do a lot of live work. I use these harps as an everyday instrument, playing both blues cross harp, or as a first position instrument. I sometimes play guitar & bass with these harps on a rack; as this type of use involves more spit than subtlety, I have worn out my more expensive Lee Oskar models, which I now use for session or solo work only. These harps are the budget fall back. Loud, with soul, well made, they compare extremely well with classic expensive brands. I spent time & money on other budget brands until finding these, which are a cracking standby, & have been fairly rugged & well made for the abuse I give them. I would recommend these for use as above as a cracking day to day harp, & would offer an encouraging quality in sound to the beginner too. My recommended choice of budget harmonica. Excellent value for money.

M
Very good for a beginner
Merlinator 29.12.2022
I bought this out of curiosity just to see how it would sound. I was pleasantly surprised by its general performance, especially for an instrument that cost less than the price of a beer. For a beginner or someone who just wants a 'try out' instrument it is perfect. The sound is good and it is responsive enough to allow a beginner to learn basic technique.
