Bought this cab to go under my recent purchase of the duo 2x10, and having done countless hours of research, trawling forums etc etc, I can affirm that these cabs are THE BEST I have ever used, and I have used all the major brands at one time or another.

A manageable sized cabinet on its own, The Double is like all their gear built with the highest quality components and attention to detail, Like the doors that "clunk shut" on a VW or Mercedes this gear has that quality of feel about it....built to last a lifetime. The sound is focused, full, with a tight low end, the cab never even flinched with my B'String pumping through it at recent gigs at a loud volume. The tone is whatever you want it to be if you have a good head and good tone in your hands I challenge anyone with these things to be dissatisfied with this cab.

Absolutely killer when paired with the Duo, any style, the cabs are "reactive" to subtle dynamics, "lively" i'd say. If you have any flaws in your playing you won't hide them with these cabs, everything is there for all to hear, but never harsh.

Stop reading, just buy one.

Soulman – Perfektion mit schwarzer Seele

Zwei Annahmen führten mich zur Kombination aus zwei Duo- und zwei Uno-Boxen: Glockenklang-Boxen sind oberes Qualitätssegment – Bassisten sind mit 10- und 15-Zoll-Boxen rundum gut bedient. Stimmt alles - die Kombination ist ohne jeden Zweifel sehr gut.

Ein Test bei Thomann lehrte mich: Das Bessere ist des Guten Feind.

Die Double bestellt, getestet und gleich noch eine bestellt. Im Zusammenspiel mit dem Soul II, der ohne Aktivierung seines Equalizers schon einen Idealton für Soul und Blues liefert, laufen die Double deutlich schwärzer und druckvoller, als die 10-Zoll Duo. Mit dem Fafner II von EBS schiebt sie mächtig aber trocken und transparent los. Die beiden Double mit zwei Unos (schalldruckmäßig optimal aufeinender abgestimmt) geben Dopaminausschüttung bis zur Sättigungsgrenze. So soll´s sein – perfekt eben.

reprobox, jsem si koupil jako náhradu za box Hartke 810, musím, říct, že jsem byl velmi překvapený jak tento box tlačí a hraje hlasitě, dává vetší tlak než zmiňovaný 810 od Hartke, co se týče zvuku tak je krásné čistý a průrazný, což je charakteristické od značky Glockenklang. Zpracování boxu je na velmi dobré úrovni. Někomu však čistota a sterilita boxu nemusí vyhovovat. Jediné na čím teď přemýšlím je, jakým boxem tento box doplním, abych využil plný potenciál svého zesilovače Aguilar AG700

De beaux médiums, une attaque très encourageante, mais le baffle n'encaisse pas bien les gros graves. Limité en 4 cordes, il est horriblement brouillon sur un SI grave (testé avec fender Jazz bass V et Sadowski Métro V) à volume moyen... que dire de sa capacité à le restituer à fort volume, lors d'une répétition ou en concert.
Je le retourne, et vais reprendre un 4x10 pouces (pour l'attaque et les médiums), possiblement secondé par un bon 15 pouces (pour la profondeur du SI grave).
