Great gig bag for bassist on a budget!
After both zips on my old bass sack broke I was looking for a bag that was sturdy, well-padded and didn't cost the Earth.
I can safely say the Gewa ticks all those boxes. It has ample padding, lots of handy pockets for stashing your bow, rosin, pickup, cables, sheet music and so forth; a good number of handles for lifting your bass in and out of cars etc.; and the straps for carrying on the back are comfortable and well-padded. The castors mounted on the bottom are a nice addition but I haven't found a use for them yet I must say!
I gig 3-4 nights a week and the bag has served me excellently so far. I would definitely recommend this product!

Sturdy and reliable
I use this case mostly to carry between my house and a local Jam.
The bag is decently padded, with all the areas of the instrument well protected.
The small wheels only work on reasonably flat ground, due to size, but it's perfect for carrying inside the venue.
The spike does stick out when the bass in stored.
There's plenty of room for storing small item and big-flat ones, like paper and books.
The straps seem to be well sewed and sturdy.
The only thing I'm missing is a place to hold a visible ownership tag.

Great Bag for the price
Having wheels is a must have, but the problem is that the wheels are mounted on a wooden plate that's probably too big causing one of the corners of this plate to harm the bag making a small hole on it.
It does not represent any threat to the bass though.
Apart from that it great, again the wheels are a must, regarding the price it feels well built, resistant, well padded it can sustain it self standing against a wall like if it was a case, plenty of handles to handle the bass easily on doors or in and out of the car.
My last bag cost me 3 times more, lasted 10 years but started to give me problems right on the first month...
I believe this one worth much more than it costs but only time and abuse will tell. Let me say that for the price paid, if it lasts in a good working condition for 5 or 6 years, than it has already worth it.

I really enjoy this bag ! The bag is sturdy well padded and protects quite well the double bass. The straps are confortable and very funcional. The wheels are functionable on flat surfaces but too small paving roads.
I highly recommended this bag !

the best bag for double bass
It has handles for all kinds of carrying, shifting, placing and mounting. Great bag that gives me the feeling that my instrument is fully protected while carried to/from the gigs.
Carrying on the back (as a backpack) is not very comfortable, but I scarcely need something like that, I just tested it :)
Plus the wheels, I love the wheels :)
All in all, I strongly recommend this product.

This has been a excellent purchase. It's looked after my Thomson 22 DB great. Transporting my DB In and out cars, houses etc. I have used in rucksack mode and it's fine.
It's worth the money and I am more than pleased
