Light, simple and relatively cheap.

I don't want to carry 16mm plywood cases. This is good enough. And when I'm performing for 20.000 people I buy myself the plywood cases for someone else to carry.

Perfect for casing a mixer
I recently bought a Behringer FX1202 and this case is perfect for it - lightweight enough that its portable up and down stairs to be carried with one hand, and with enough space left over for all my PA and power leads. It's sturdy enough that I have a bass amp in another gator rack case stacked on top and its not going to move at all. Since the cases have coordinated shapes, they tessellate and don't move an inch unlike other flatter cases. I have used another one of these cases for years for the aforementioned bass amp and it has only picked up a few scratches here and there.

the perfect size for guitar rack effects
So... full depth racks are too big (500mm)
Shallow racks are not big enough (250mm)...
This one at 311mm is excellent.
it will fit comfortably guitar preamps such as Rocktron Piranha, Marshall JMP-1, ADA MP1 and 2.
It will also fit a Mesa Triaxis (just) but you need to take the rear cables out to close the lid (not a big deal as its only a 3 RU rack so there wont be too many).
Also FX units like the TC Electronics will easily fit.
Excellent quality...TOUGH and great size. Recommended!

Very good and sturdy rack!
This is a sturdy and durable rack which is best suited for live or on the road use. It will keep your equipment safe and the butterfly latches work well. The case includes rack rails both at the front and back thus allowing even greater flexibility although of course this will depend on the depth of the equipment you are using. The material is also lightweight which is always a plus. Additional racks by the same company can easily be stacked up one over the other. The only little drawback is that if you place this over your amp, the underside will be flush with your amp... if your amp has ventilation at the top it will get hot!

Solid Case for low price
Since 2 years I´m using the gator case for carrying my Axe Fx and I am very satisfied.
The case feels rock solid, is easy to close up and to transport.
I would buy it again.

Gator are the best rack cases
This is a great rack case, it's the shallow version, what's makes easy to fit anywhere. I like the most about the gator is they come with enough screws that you don't need to buy some more just to fit the front side. And they are front and back rack-able, what is very handy to save space. This is not my first and will not be my last gator rack case.
