Great Pick with balanced soundproperties!
Rouven III 23.02.2014
Like almost every guitarist I have started with really thin picks and developed me to use thicker ones. The Dunlop Tortex Standard in 1.0mm feel great! They have a good grip (I do not have to incise them for better grip) and provide for a balanced sound. Both clean and distorted sound transport a smile in your face using the picks. In terms durability in dependes on how to play: I am not the hardcore-shredding-guy, but have more sensitive and emtional attack. For me the picks fit perfect with clean stuff, but also the harder metall stuff. The shape is sleek and fits comfortable in your hand. I have to say that I really often play with the lateral edges and not with the peak like the most guitar player do.

This pick is my standard-pick since years and I do not see any argument to change it in the next time.

Really nice, that Thomman offers largers packages, so that you can save some money if it is the right pick for you!

Blue and Green forever!
Chronos 28.09.2013
One of the two only plectrums I can actually use without complaining, the other being the Green Dunlop Tortex.

This pick is fantastic, lovely grippy texture that helps you hold onto the pick even when your hands become sweaty.

In my experience, on electric guitar its easier to go faster with a hard pick like this, and on acoustic guitar, it helps give a slightly darker tone than a thinner pick.

If you're new to guitar, I recommend that you buy a few of every type of pick so you can find the one that suites you best.

Legendary Picks!
Anonymous 10.07.2016
I have had the pleasure of using these picks since a very very long and indeed they have never disappointed me. Also basically i use them on Regular bases :)

As i have aggressive hard hitting picking technique due to this reason the pick doesnt Really last for that long but over all its amazing surely.

The Tortex grip is one of its kind, by its size its really easy to fiddle with the pick. The sound is off course unique with this pick depending on your playing style.

Bulk Quality!

A great product at a low bulk price, No issues, good grip and durable plectrum.
Dunlop A name that delivers great quality again and again,
This weight is good for a player who wants a stiff plectrum, but not so that there is no flexibility at all.
