Ho comprato questo bocchino contemporaneamente all'acquisto di un Flugelhorn Raw Jazz FH-900, convinto aprioristicamente che il bocchino in dotazione non mi sarebbe piaciuto. Mi sono dovuto ricredere alla grande! Il bocchino Thomann ha un suono più scuro e grasso (anche perché ha una tazza più profonda). È più equilibrato su tutti i registri, ma richiede un minimo di controllo in più rispetto a DW. Per le mia labbra è anche più comodo, ma questo è altamente soggettivo. Il DW invece ha un suono leggermente più "stretto" che non coincide con quello che ho in testa io. Attualmente uso esclusivamente il bocchino Thomann per suonare e porto dietro con me il DW per fare un po' di buzzing quando sono fuori casa.
