NP
I loved it
Nicolo' P. 23.04.2020
This was my first banjo.
Kept it and played it for 3 years and then I had to sell it.
I still miss this instrument now a days.

PRO
Quality Banjo at reasonable price.
Bright and happy tone.
Very recommended for beginners.
Kept is price steady even after many years. I consider it a good investment.

CONS
You will miss it if you sell it.
(Con but a totally subjective one) after playing them both I must admit that I prefer the version with no resonator.
If u are looking for a more "sturdy" sound you may wanna go with a different kind of wood.

A great product, at a great price from a top seller.
Even if it took a very long time (months!!) to get here were I live, cause it was not available when I ordered it and there was some delivery issues.

Worth it! 100%

A
Great sounding starter banjo
Anonymous 12.01.2017
I've been playing the guitar for almost 20 years. I recently fell in love with the sound of the banjo and wanted to learn how to play it. I chose Deering Goodtime 2 as my starter instrument after having read many reviews. After 3 months of owning it, I don't regret the investment.

It has a beautiful bright and rich tone. It feels solid. Blonde maple looks gorgeous and attractive. It nicely stands out in the room. The string action is set well. It actually came all set right out of the box. It's in tune even if played in higher frets. It's very easy and fun to play.

I'm not completely satisfied with is the quality of the tuning pegs. As I turn them, the strings don't seem to change pitch slowly and gradually as I would naturally expect. They need to be turned a little more to change pitch. The 5th string peg though is different and it's very accurate. The good news is that they all hold tuning well.

Overall, I give it 5 stars for it's superb sound and 4 stars for the quality. I recommend it to aspiring and low intermediate banjo players looking for a decent banjo at a reasonable price.

I received my banjo today and absolutely love it. The sound, the feel and the quality of it is brilliant. I have already been practicing with it for a few hours and found it hard to put down. I would recommend buying this.

Rapporto qualita/prezzo imbattibile
Anonymous 28.04.2016
