Excellent product for this price
I use this at home with headphones so far. In this aspect, the pre-amp module is perfect and works much better then most pedals I've tested so far.
I have also used it with a 2x10" GK amp. It sounds very nice, especially the clean sound, which is important for me. The clean sound is good and it's so easy to program it on spot that you can actually tune it just before playing some songs. The presets, despite being high on outputs (usually all pedals are), are very well structured, which makes it easy to find nice sounds.
Best feature for me: I load it in a backpack, together with energy supply, cables and so on and it weights in total less than 2 kg. Love it!
I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a small and easy to carry pedal that can handle small gigs.

Super versatile, ultra portable, pure fun.
Let me start by saying that I have only begun to scratch the surface of the GT-1B so my comments will primarily reflect such. I have used this pedal to explore a wide range of sounds that, with the 99 presets alone will have you bouncing around in all sorts of directions musically for countless hours (one year later and I am still in the exploratory phase). I am using it in conjunction with my first bass purchase, a Fender PJ Precision Deluxe Special. From 60s P to 70s R&B to Blues to Reggae, to a host of Synth and distortion sounds and even an Organ replication, this thing can do it all. And with a simple connection to a computer you can access the very user-friendly software and expand or dial-in whatever sound you choose. Not to mention, once you begin the process of creating your own tones (which has a somewhat uphill learning curve) you'll spend months and months and more on your journey to find the sounds that feel most at home to your style(s) of music.
But what makes this pedal so cool are its amazing features. I plug my PC, mobile (for music play-through) and headphones into this thing and can play basically anytime, anywhere (due to the battery option). I would highly recommend you spend the extra few bucks and purchase the Boss AC adapter to avoid any noise distortion from an after-market plug and to not waste money on batteries when playing at home or near an outlet. You can of course also run this pedal to your amp and either play audio out or through your headphones to take your sound pleasure to the next level.
In short, this is a terrific product for home and practice use and several of the settings (but certainly not all) can also be used for professional use. Also, the built-in tuner although criticized by some as jumpy, actually will dial you in perfectly, particularly when working on lining up intonation and octave tuning. This pedal is also rock solid sturdy and again very portable.
If versatility, great sound production and the ability to have fun anytime, anywhere is your thing, then this is the pedal for you. Last thing, you won't find a better place in Europe to purchase your music stuff than Thomann. Service, packaging and shipping are always top flight.
Get this pedal. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing little pedal
i had the gt10b and i liked it, the only problem was that it was too big and heavy, they sured fixed that with the gt1b, also the sounds are IMO better quality, after you learn how to edit and create effects, you can sell your whole other pedals

first impression is excellent...sounds very nice and seems easy to use...some presets are very extreme and complicated sounds...so with some work you are able to make some new strange stuff!

A good versatile device for the money
It sounds better than any VST and great for home practice as well as for rehearsal and gigging
Sound banks are good enough and easy adjustable
Some default presets might sound weird or raw but I don't mind (probably I will find out how to cook them later) because I took this thing to set up my own
Outputs cover all possible situations I can imagine
USB connection is also great, and I know that I will spend many many hours experimenting with community presets or setting my presets on it's software
Build quality is solid, and I can't complain about this purchase at all
The only thing is the original power supply adaptor which is supposed to be bought in addition
To sum up, I received this processor recently so there are still a lot of things to explore though I'm already very happy with it

Great little thing!
I'm using it for some time now. Lots of options, many different sounds and toys you can really use. Great for people playing different styles and types of music.
I like the fx control option for the volume pedal. Just press hard and control your fx.
Best thing about it is compact size. Everyone should get one. Only thing you need is time to find the settings you wanna play with to get the sound you want.
Didn't find any downsides for it.

Everything you would want from a multi-fx pedal
Bought this pedal about a year ago, and i couldn't be happier with it. I have used it on multiple gigs, recording sessions, writing sessions and it has never let me down. It has a great use as a cab sim, and makes my recording process much easier. It has all of the effects that you could ever want and probably a lot that you won't use as often because there are just so many. The personalisation of your fx chain reminds me of modeling amps and is a great helper, because you can tweak everything preciselly . the only downside i can see is that when you crack an active bass though it it can get quite distorted. All in all this pedal is well worth your money and has become a staple in all my musical endaviours.

Great unit
I love this unit. It has some great sounds. Some are very useable and some are not. I got it for bass synth sounds which are great and to get that lovely fretless sound we’re all familiar with from recordings. There are no miracles here, if you’ve a fretted bass you won’t get a fretless sound! I think that there’s an overkill of distortion sounds and the gimmicky organ sounds are completely unnecessary but generally it’s what you’d expect from Boss, a solid, well made unit with plenty of options to edit the effects. Simple to use (says someone who managed to play bass for 40 years without an effects unit). Even if all you need are a couple of changes to your tone and a floor tuner this unit is worth having in your arsenal.

Brilliant device
In my opinion this little "monster" pedal can satisfy almost any bass player.
Price/Quality ratio is sky-high.
