Great unit

Only minor annoyance is that the lights do not turn on and off with the unit, they're permanently on front and back. You can turn down the brightness control to sort the front ones, but the back USB light is on permanently.

But other than that, great unit and been using it for a couple of years without issue.

TP
Excellent workhorse unit
The Professor 12.09.2018
I bought several power conditioners as part of a studio overhaul, so that each rack would have its own dedicated supply. Since my building has somewhat ropey AC, the conditioning element of these units is very attractive to me. In the end I got two ordinary conditioners and this rather more exciting one with lights built in... which, in the end, I'm hardly ever using. That said, they work very well: they only engage when they're slid out of the unit (so they're not consuming power when not in use) and they're dimmable. For a live rack they would be very handy indeed: obviously, though, you'll need to mount your power unit at the top of the rack!
The real attraction for me is the RF filtering and power conditioning, which has really helped to minimise noise and buzzing in my studio. Using three of these units instead of ordinary mains strips came at a cost; but it was worth it ? the noise floor seems to have dropped by about 8dB, which is pretty amazing. In terms of features, you also get a front-panel circuitbreaker, a rear-panel USB socket (which I believe only supplies power, nothing more ? but you can connect a USB lightstick to it to get some light into the back of your rack), and it comes with four cables. There are 8 mains outputs round the back, on IEC sockets, and one on the front which is permanently on ? not switchable ? and useful for connecting whatever bit of kit you happen to be playing with that day but which usually lives in a cupboard. All the rear sockets are switched, together, from the front.
All in all, a thoroughly effective upgrade to my studio: the noise floor improvement has been a delight.
